(GODERICH, ON) – A 31-year-old from Seaforth was arrested and charged over the weekend after he was caught failing to abide with terms of a recent court release.
On Sunday, April 26, 2020 at approximately 8:00 p.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol in Goderich observed the accused cycling on Cambridge Street. A check on the accused revealed he was currently bound by a court release condition of house arrest to remain 24 hours a day within his residence.
As a result of being out in the public without permission the accused was promptly arrested and taken into custody.
Wesley GREEN, 31 years of age from Seaforth has been charged with Fail to Comply with Probation Order & Fail to Comply with Release Order. He remains in custody with a court appearance scheduled for April 30, 2020.
