Suspended Driver Caught Going 135 in an 80 – HUDSON

(WEST PERTH, ON) – A 22-year old Goderich resident is facing charges after a traffic stop in West Perth.

At approximately 7:00 p.m. on April 27 2020, a Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was patrolling Perth Road 180, in the Municipality of West Perth, when a vehicle was observed to be speeding. The vehicle was found to be travelling in excess of 135km/h in a posted 80km/h zone.

During the investigation, it was discovered that the driver’s licence was suspended.

As a result, Autumn Lynne HUDSON, 22, of Goderich, is charged with:

Race a motor vehicle – excessive speed

Driving while under suspension

An additional seven day driving suspension was initiated as per statute. The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
