Brian BIDDLE Arrested Again – Stolen Property, Counterfeit Money, etc

(BLUEWATER, ON) – A Stratford resident is facing a half-dozen charges after a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer caught the accused with a stolen motorbike, counterfeit money and throwing knives.

On Friday, September 25, 2020 at approximately 8:30 p.m. a Huron OPP officer was patrolling on MacDonald Road when the officer noticed a motorcycle broken down and in the process of getting a battery charge from another vehicle. The officer stopped to investigate and it was noted the motorcycle did not have a rear licence plate. Further, a subsequent check on the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) revealed the motorbike was stolen from Goderich.

The motorbike rider was arrested and taken into custody for Possessing Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5,000. A search incident to arrest was conducted and the accused was also found in possession of counterfeit currency and three throwing knives.

Brian BIDDLE, 38 years of age from Stratford has been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000, Possessing Counterfeit Money, Possession of a Prohibited Device for a Dangerous Purpose (3 counts) and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon contrary to a Prohibition Order.

The accused has since been released from custody with a court date scheduled for November 9, 2020 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
