$100,000 Methamphetamine Bust – Jeremy HALK

(HANOVER, ON) – On October 18, 2020, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU), West Region OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Hanover Police Service concluded a lengthy Controlled Drugs & Substances Act (CDSA) investigation with the arrest of two individuals at a property along 7th Street in Hanover.

During the arrest, police seized a large quantity of Methamphetamine. The estimated value of the seized controlled substance is $100,700.00.

Police also seized offence related property including 2 cell phones and a quantity of Canadian currency.

Jeremy HALK, 34-years-old, of Hanover was charged with:

Possession of Methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking

Flight from police

Operation while Prohibited

2 counts of Fail to comply with Release Order

2 counts of Fail to comply with Probation Order

The accused was held in custody pending the result of a bail hearing.

Nicole VALAD, 30-years-old, of Brockton was charged with:

Possession of Methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking

Possession of Methamphetamine

Flight from police

The accused is scheduled to appear in court on December 16, 2020 to answer to the charges.
