Sean BOOKER – Drunk Driving

(COUNTY of BRANT, ON) – A member of the County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while conducting R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired driving everywhere) on December 13, 2020 at approximately 1:20 a.m. located a vehicle who attempted to avoid the RIDE stop on Paris Road in the County of Brant.

Police determined through investigation that the driver had been drinking alcohol and the driver was arrested.

OPP investigators have charged Sean BOOKER 22-years-old of Haldimand County with driving a motor vehicle with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in her blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date to answer to the charge. If convicted, the offender will be subject to the Criminal Code penalties, including a fine or jail time, and a driving prohibition.
