(BRANT COUNTY, ON) – On May 21, 2021 members of Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) executed a search warrant at a residence on Nimmo Street in the County of Brant.
Items previously reported stolen from Brant County and the City of Brantford were recovered including a motorcycle and an ATV. All owners have been updated regarding their property.
Sam SWEENEY, 46 years-of-age from Brant County is charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5000,
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5000,
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order and
- Altering/Destroying/Removing a vehicle identification number (2 counts).
Jade Sierra SWEENEY, 25 years-of-age from Brant County is charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5000,
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5000 and
- Altering/Destroying/Removing a vehicle identification number (2 counts).
Dorothy SWEENEY, 73 years-of-age from Brant County is charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5000,
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5000 and
- Altering/Destroying/Removing a vehicle identification number (2 counts).
All accused are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Brantford at a later date.
