(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement (TIME) Team continue to investigate a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck that took place this morning west of Brussels.
At approximately 10:13 a.m., Huron County OPP, Huron County Paramedic Services and Huron East Fire Department responded to the crash scene located at the intersection of Morris Road (County Road #16) and Clyde Line.
The initial investigation has determined the driver of the motorcycle was southbound on Clyde Line when the driver entered into the path of pickup truck that was travelling westbound on Morris Road (County #16). A collision ensued within the intersection and the driver of the motorcycle sustained fatal injuries.
The deceased has been identified as 70-year-old William GALLAGHER from Bluevale.
Morris Road has re-opened for travel.
