(MEAFORD, ON) – On March 26, 2020 Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle that was stuck on an open green space at the end of Parker Street West in Meaford. The property is the sight of the Meaford fair grounds and is owned by the Meaford and St. Vincent Agricultural Society. Police attended the property and a female was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for Trespassing.
OPP officers have received several complaints reporting that people are purposely driving their vehicles on the property, wrecking the grass and created ruts in the ground.
Grey Bruce OPP will be patrolling the area and if you are found operating your vehicle on the property without permission you will be charged.
