30 Tons Of Barley Spilled – Suspect(s) At Large

(NORTH PERTH, ON) – The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating after unknown suspects opened a gravity feed valve on a grain elevator at a business on Perth Line 88, in the Municipality of North Perth. The mischief occurred at approximately 2:45 a.m. on April 30 2020. Approximately 25-30 metric tonnes of barley was spilled when the grain bin was opened. The value of the barley that was spilled is upwards of $5000.

Police are asking any witnesses to this theft, or any incident, to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or online at www.opp.ca/reporting.
