(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – On Monday, December 14, 2020, at approximately 6:13 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment received a report of a traffic complaint at a Highway 24, Townsend, Norfolk County address.
It was determined that a member of the motoring public was following a vehicle and subsequently contacted police. Officers located the vehicle and stopped it to investigate the driver at a Norfolk Street North address.
As a result, police charged 37-year-old Tara L. KOITER of Brantford, Ontario with operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration 80 plus and Highway Traffic Act offences.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Simcoe at a later date.
