Homeowner Scares Off & Follows Armed Criminal

(OXFORD COUNTY, ON) – On Sunday, December 13, 2020, at approximately 10:12 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Oxford County Detachment investigated a mischief after being called to a Church Street, Ingersoll address.

It was determined that a homeowner located an unknown male in their backyard and immediately confronted them. The unknown person then fled and was followed by the homeowner and was last seen heading southbound on Oxford Street.

The person was described as a male, wearing a blue coloured hooded sweater and was carrying a backpack. He had his face covered and was carrying a long stick.
