(PETROLIA, ON) – On April 2, 2021 at approximately 7:45 p.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a suspicious vehicle on Petrolia Line with obscured plates.
Lambton OPP members conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle on Gem St. Investigation led to the arrest of one of the occupants. A search of the driver revealed suspected Percocet.
As a result, William TAYLOR, 53-years-old of Chatham has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance (CDSA).
- Use plate not authorized for vehicle (HTA)
- Drive while under suspension (HTA)
- Operate a motor vehicle without insurance (CAIA)
The accused has been released and will appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
