(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to attend a collision on St George Road at McLean School Road in the County of Brant on December 24, 2020 at 1:00 a.m.
It was determined that an altercation happened on St George Road while two vehicles were travelling north bound, then a collision occurred at St George Road at McLean School Road. Following the collision another altercation took place outside of the vehicles.
Police have charged three individuals with the following offences:
Douglas NOBLES 47-years-old of Cambridge, Ontario has been charged with assault contrary to Section 266 of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Eriq St JULES 20-years-old of Cambridge, Ontario has been charged with the following offences contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada:
- Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle section 320.13(1)
- Mischief to property under $5000 section 430 (1) (a)
Lionel GRIFFIN 28-years-old of Wasaga Beach, Ontario has been charged with the following offences contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada:
- Mischief to property under $5000 section 430 (1) (a)
- assault contrary to Section 266
The County of Brant Detachment is continuing to investigate this incident and would like to speak to any potential witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the County of Brant OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date to answer to the charges.
