(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are investigating the theft of a Ford F-150 pickup truck that was taken yesterday from a property located on Beechwood Line near St. Columban. The suspect then used the same pickup truck later in the day and stole some gasoline from a gas station near London.

The investigation has determined the thief stole the pickup sometime between 9:00 p.m. on July 6, 2021 and 8:00 a.m. on July 7, 2021. The pickup truck was taken from the owner’s garage. The key to the ignition had been left in the vehicle.

The pickup truck is described as a white, 2020 Ford F-150 XTR crew cab with a short box.

Later that afternoon officers learned a suspect filled up the stolen vehicle on Hamilton Road in Thames Centre and fled the gas station after failing to pay for $93 in gasoline.
