(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – A Bayfield resident is facing an Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration 80 Plus charge following a traffic stop that took place this past weekend near Bayfield.

On Saturday, May 21, 2022 at approximately 9:13 p.m. Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers received a complaint of a motorist that was operating while possibly being impaired. A few minutes later a Huron OPP officer observed the suspect vehicle travelling westbound on Bayfield Road at a high rate of speed over the posted 90 km/h speed limit.
