(NORTH PERTH, ON) – The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a 59-year-old with a drug offence and a 58-year-old with two provincial offences following a traffic stop on Perth Road 164 in the Municipality of North Perth.
On May 3, 2022, just before 12:00 a.m., a Perth County OPP officer stopped a motor vehicle to investigate a possible suspended driver.
Through the course of investigation and search of the motor vehicle, a quantity of illicit drugs was located inside the vehicle.
As a result, Tammy ETHIER, 59, of Kelowna, British Columbia, has been charged with:
– Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charge.
A 58-year-old resident of Atwood has been charged with:
– Drive while under suspension
– Drive vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available
