(PERTH, ON) – An investigation lasting several months has resulted in a significant drug seizure and drug trafficking charges against a Perth resident.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit, assisted by members of the Lanark County Detachment and the Canine Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence on Rogers Road in Perth on Thursday, March 13, 2025.
Officers seized approximately 13-grams of suspected crack cocaine, nearly 113-grams of suspected cocaine, over 13-grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, more than 40-oxycodone pills, over 500-trazadone pills, several alprazolam tablets and more than a dozen hydromorphone pills. They also seized a firearm and ammunition, as well as items typically associated with drug trafficking.
Kevin SINCENNES, age 45 of Perth, has been charged with:
- Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – four counts
- Possession of a schedule 4 substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order – two counts
- Fail to comply with a release order – two counts
The accused was held in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Friday, March 14, 2025.
