2 Dead Following Collision

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Middlesex County OPP investigating a fatal collision in Middlesex Centre.

On March 5, 2026, at 7:40 p.m., emergency services including members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex-London Paramedic Service and Middlesex Centre Fire, were dispatched to Highbury Avenue North between Thirteen and Fourteen Mile Roads in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre, for the report of a serious, head-on collision involving two vehicles.

The drivers and lone occupants of both vehicles were transported to hospital with life-threatening-injuries.

As a result of the collision both drivers, a 75-year-old of St. Thomas and a 28-year-old of Georgian Bluffs, were pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team are on scene to assist with the investigation.

Highbury Avenue North is anticipated to remain closed for the next few hours between Thirteen and Fourteen Mile Roads.
