Wade Sabourin – Intoxicated in Common Area of Residence, Etc.

On September 8, 2026, officers with Patrol Services charged 26-year-old Wade Sabourin of Pic Mobert First Nation with assaulting and resisting peace officers.

Around 9:15 p.m., 911 Communicators received a report of an unwanted person at a business in the 200 block of Great Northern Road. Officers were dispatched to the scene and directed the individual, identified as the accused, to leave the property. The accused refused. When officers began to take physical control of the accused to arrest them, the accused physically resisted, scratched, and kicked officers. The accused was arrested.

The accused is charged with:

  • Assault a Peace Officer x2
  • Resist Peace Officer
  • Engage in Prohibited Activity on Premises (under the Trespass to Property Act)
  • Fail to Leave Premises When Directed (under the Trespass to Property Act)
  • Being Intoxicated in Common Area of Residence (under the Liquor Licence and Control Act)

The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on November 23, 2026.
