FAIL TO COMPLY, BREAK AND ENTER, MISCHIEF, THEFT
Cornwall, ON – A 43-year-old woman from Cornwall was arrested on Sept. 9, 2026, and charged with the following:
- Fail to comply with probation order
- Break and enter a place – commit indictable offence
- Mischief over $5,000
- Theft under $5,000
On June 10, 2026, Cornwall Police Service officers were dispatched to a Second Street East business in relation to a break and enter complaint, and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is further alleged she broke into the business, committed mischief by damaging three doors and stole property. As a result of the investigation, police developed reasonable and probable grounds for her arrest. In the early morning hours of Sept. 9, 2026, the woman was located and taken into custody by a CPS officer, who was conducting general patrol in the City of Cornwall. She was charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on Oct. 20, 2026.
FAIL TO COMPLY, SHOPLIFTING
Cornwall, ON – A 53-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on Sept. 9, 2026, and charged with fail to comply with probation order and theft under $5,000 – shoplifting. It is alleged on Sept. 9, 2026, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is further alleged he attended a Second Street East business, selected merchandise and exited the store without making any attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was later released to appear in court on Oct. 22, 2026.
FAIL TO COMPLY, FAIL TO ATTEND
Cornwall, ON – A 29-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on Sept. 9, 2026, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on March 23, 2026, the man was bound by two separate probation orders, each with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is further alleged he was scheduled to attend police headquarters for fingerprinting and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest on the charges of two counts of fail to comply with probation order and one count of fail to comply with appearance notice – fingerprinting. On Sept. 9, 2026, CPS officers were dispatched to a trespass complaint, and an investigation ensued. The man was located and taken into police custody. The warrant was executed and he was later released to appear in court on Oct. 22, 2026.
FAIL TO ATTEND
Cornwall, ON – A 38-year-old woman from Cornwall was arrested on Sept. 9, 2026, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Aug. 27, 2026, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest on the charge of failure to attend court after having appeared. On Sept. 9, 2026, a CPS officer was dispatched to an unwanted person complaint, and an investigation ensued. The woman was located and taken into police custody. The warrant was executed and she was later released to appear in court on Oct. 20, 2026.
VOYEURISM
Cornwall, ON – A 42-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on Sept. 9, 2026, and charged with voyeurism. On Sept. 9, 2026, a CPS officer was dispatched to investigate a disturbance. The investigation revealed that between Jan. 1, 2026, and Aug. 31, 2026, the man allegedly took a nude photograph of his girlfriend without her consent, in circumstances where she had a reasonable expectation of privacy. He was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. The man was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – A 31-year-old woman from Cornwall was arrested on Sept. 9, 2026, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on June 4, 2026, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest on the charge of failure to attend court after having appeared. On Sept. 9, 2026, a CPS officer initiated a traffic stop, and an investigation ensued. The woman was located in the motor vehicle and subsequently taken into police custody. The warrant was executed and she was held for a bail hearing.

It is alleged on Sept. 4, 2026, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest on the charge of fail to attend for court – as per undertaking. In the early morning hours of Sept. 10, 2026, a CPS officer initiated a traffic stop, and an investigation ensued. The woman was located in the motor vehicle and subsequently taken into police custody. The warrant was executed and she was later released to appear in court on Oct. 20, 2026.
