Emergency crews attended Coulter Street on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, around 7:20 p.m. after a single vehicle collision into a construction site.
Officers arrived to find an SUV that had plummeted several feet into a construction pit. The construction zone was clearly marked, including a surrounding metal fence.
The vehicle struck a metal post supporting the fencing before going over the ledge.
Emergency crews worked to remove the driver from the area. The 27-year-old woman was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police do not believe alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision.
The vehicle has since been safely removed from the construction site.
The investigation is ongoing.
