State Of Emergency: Council Holds Illegal Meeting, Museum To Be Taken From Winghamites – Threats Toward Residents Ramp Up

(Wingham, North Huron, ON) North Huron council continues to hold illegal virtual meetings. At the last meeting, council rammed through selling off the Museum building before the lame duck session starts. Wingham residents were not consulted, and were threatened with arrest if they asked a question.

Blyth and East-Wawanosh councillors are forcing this decision on Wingham out of spite. Citizens are encouraged to contact the council and demand they stop stealing our assets. The Municipal election is 26Oct2026, that council should determine if Winghamites have a say and what happens to our assets.
