(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) – Police responded to threat’s complaint at an apartment building in Elliot Lake.
On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at approximately 4:15 p.m., the East Algoma Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a neighbour dispute at an apartment complex on Hillside Drive North.
Investigation determined a tenant who is known to police had threatened to physically harm the complainant’s neighbour multiple times.
Otto MAYR, 63 years-old from Elliot Lake was arrested and charged with: Uttering threats-cause death or bodily harm.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on
June 11, 2026.
