(MACHIN, ON) – An investigation led by the Dryden Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with assistance from the Treaty Three Police Service, and members from the Dryden OPP Detachment has resulted in charges being laid against three individuals.
On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, just before 9:30 a.m. CDT, a traffic stop was conducted on Highway 17, just east of Armstrong Street in the Municipality of Machin. The investigation resulted in the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of suspected illicit drugs, including cocaine, methamphetamine, crack cocaine and prescription drugs.
As a result of the investigation, Adele FINCH, 70-years-old of Dryden has been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) with the following offences:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking a schedule I substance – cocaine
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking a schedule I substance – methamphetamine
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden on Thursday, March 19, 2026.
Angel LECKNER, 40-years-old of Dryden has been charged under the CDSA with the following offences:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking a schedule I substance – cocaine
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking a schedule I substance – methamphetamine
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden on Monday, April 27, 2026.
Sheena ROBSON, 41-years-old of Winnipeg, MB has been charged under the CDSA with the following offences:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking a schedule I substance – cocaine
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking a schedule I substance – methamphetamine
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden on Thursday, March 19, 2026.
