(POINT EDWARD, ON) – On March 15, 2026, at approximately 3:50 a.m., members of the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were requested to attend Bluewater Bridge, Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), regarding a possible impaired driver.
As a result of the investigation, Arturas SALKAUSKA, a 51-year-old of Sarnia, has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia on April 16, 2026.
