Corrinna OLSZOWY, Kristy-Lee GILBERT & Isabella SLADE – Impaired Driving

 (TILLSONBURG, ZORRA, NORWICH, ON) – Members from the Oxford detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), had a busy night across Oxford County, taking three impaired drivers off the roads.

On March 5, 2026, at approximately 1:00 a.m., while on proactive patrol, Oxford OPP observed a vehicle being driven dangerously, on Simcoe Street, in the Town of Tillsonburg.

As a result of the investigation, Kristy-Lee GILBERT, a 27-year-old resident of Simcoe, was charged with:

·      Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle

·      Operation While Impaired

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Woodstock, on April 21, 2026.

Approximately one hour later, at approximately 2:00 a.m., on Road 68 in Zorra Township, Oxford OPP, while on proactive patrol, observed another vehicle being driven dangerously.

As a result of the investigation, Isabella SLADE, a 22-year-old resident of Ingersoll was charged with:

·      Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle

·      Operation While Impaired

·      Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) 80 plus

·      Drive Motor Vehicle with Open Container of Liquor

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Woodstock, on May 5, 2026.

At approximately 6:00 a.m., Oxford OPP was notified of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 403 in Norwich Township. A passenger vehicle and a transport truck collided. No injuries were reported.

As a result of the collision investigation, the driver of the passenger vehicle, Corrinna OLSZOWY, a 29-year-old resident of London, was charged with:

·      Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle

·      Operation While Impaired

·      Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) 80 plus

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Woodstock, on April 14, 2026.

Police would like to remind all motorists that no amount of alcohol or drugs is safe to consume prior to, or during, the operation of a motor vehicle.
