(HURON EAST, ON) – A tractor-trailer versus school bus collision on North Line at Summerhill Road in the Municipality of Huron East has left both involved vehicle drivers and two students with injuries.
Members of the Huron Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Huron County Paramedic Services, and Huron East Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle collision just after 08:00 a.m. on Wednesday March 04, 2026. Emergency services located both drivers and two teen-aged students with injuries. Three were transported to a local hospital and the fourth was treated at the scene. All the injured are expected to make full recoveries.
Fog in the area at the time of collision is believed to have been a factor in the collision, which is still being investigated.
North Line is currently closed for the investigation and safe removal of the damaged vehicles.
No charges have been laid at this time.
