(Central Huron, ON) On November 10, 2009 at approximately 2:30 pm, a Huron OPP officer stopped a pickup truck on Ontario Street in Central Huron after observing that it had an insecure load in the back causing a potential traffic hazard. Upon speaking to the driver of the truck, the officer confirmed that the man was prohibited from driving due to a prior criminal driving offence conviction. The driver was arrested for Drive While Prohibited which is a Criminal Offence.
As a result, Ronald ULCH (45) of Central Huron has been charged with one count of Drive While Prohibited and one count of Insecure Load. He will answer to his charge in Goderich Court on December 21, 2009. The vehicle he was operating was towed and is being impounded for 45 days as per statute.
