South Bruce OPP Members Revive Male

(KINCARDINE, ON.) – On November 17, 2009 at 5:15 pm, a Grey Ford Ranger struck a tree at the South end of the South Bruce OPP Walkerton Detachment. The Ranger continued on across the driveway and came to rest on the front lawn of the detachment between the front steps and the flag pole.

South Bruce OPP members attended the vehicle and quickly determined that the male driver was in medical distress. Provincial Constable Derrick Frook, Provincial Constable Greg Clark and Sergeant Ken Kaufman performed CPR until Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived.

The driver was taken to the London Health Sciences Center by Air Ambulance.

The Ontario Provincial Police Technical Traffic Collision Investigators attended the scene to assist the investigator. This incident remains under investigation.
