(KINCARDINE, ON.) – 39 year old Lowell Gilbert of Port Elgin is facing charges of speeding and driving with a suspended licence following a February 4, 2010 traffic stop on Bruce County Rd 33 in Bruce Township. Gilbert’s vehicle was observed travelling 121 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone prior to the stop. Motorists are reminded that excessive speed is illegal, unsafe and even more dangerous during the winter season.
