Cory Bridge – Drunk Driving

(Morris Turnberry, ON) On February 7, 2010 at approximately 12:30 am, a Huron OPP officer stopped a vehicle to check the sobriety of the driver on Black Line in Morris Turnberry. Upon speaking to the driver, the officer detected the odour of alcohol coming from the drivers’ breath and formed the grounds to read the demand for a roadside sample of breath. The driver complied and failed his test at which time he was arrested for Drive With Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. The driver was taken to the Huron OPP Detachment where he met with an Intoxilizer Technician to provide two more samples of his breath. The results of the test confirmed that the driver had a blood alcohol level that was above the legal limit of 80 milligrams.

As a result of the investigation, Corey BRIDGE (29) of Listowel was charged with one count of Drive With Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in 100 Millilitres of Blood. He will return to the Ontario Court of Justice – Wingham on March 18, 2010 to answer to his charge. His licence was also suspended for 90 days.
