(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On February 17, 2010 shortly after midnight, a Perth County OPP officer on patrol stopped a pickup truck on Perth Line 86 west of Perth Road 140.
While speaking with the driver the officer became suspicious as to his sobriety, at which time a roadside breath demand was made. The driver failed the roadside breath test, was arrested, and transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville for subsequent breath tests. He registered breath results of over .80 Mgs. on the Intoxilyzer.
Aaron Mitchell, a 20 year old Maryborough resident was charged with operating a motor vehicle with over 80 Milligrams of Blood Alcohol Content. He was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to attend Listowel court on the 24th day of March to answer to this charge. He was also served a 90 day Drivers Licence Suspension.
