Peter Goodall – Drunk Driving – No Licence – No Insurance – No Plates

(Morris Turnberry, ON) On February 21, 2010 at approximately 12:30 am, a Huron OPP officer was patrolling on Clegg Line when the officer encountered a vehicle that was wandering within its lane. The officer stopped the driver to check his sobriety. While speaking to the driver, the officer detected a strong odour of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. The driver also produced an expired drivers’ licence. The plates were not authorized for the vehicle and it was also confirmed that there was no insurance on the vehicle.

The driver was arrested for Impaired Driving and was transported to the Huron OPP Detachment to meet with a qualified Intoxilizer Technician. The driver however, refused to provide the necessary breath samples as required by statute.

As a result of the investigation, Peter GOODALL (46) of Belgrave has been charged with one count of Impaired Driving, one count of Fail to Provide Breath Sample, one count of Drive Motor Vehicle Without Insurance, one count of Use Plates Not Authorized and one count of Drive Motor Vehicle – No licence. He will answer to all these charges in the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on April 15, 2010. LP10043975
