(KINCARDINE, ON.) – On February 28th, 2010 at 8:50 pm members of the South Bruce OPP were conducting RIDE on County Road 1, in the hamlet of Glammis.
A pickup truck approached the RIDE checkpoint with the high beams on, and the truck crossed the centre line before officers got it stopped. 47 year old John Kormendi of Strathroy-Caradoc is charged with Impaired Operation, Operate with Over 80 milligrams and Drive motor vehicle with open container of Liquor.
Kormendi is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on April 19th, 2010 to answer to the charges.
