(Goderich, ON) Huron OPP officers received over a half a dozen calls regarding vehicle entries and thefts from vehicles on March 6th – 7th. Most vehicles were unlocked at the time and several had valuables taken from inside the vehicle.
Anyone who may have seen any suspicious persons lurking around vehicles is asked to contact the Huron OPP at 1-800-310-1122 or CRIME STOPPERS- 1-800-222-T.I.P.S. (8477).
Vehicle owners are reminded that it is far easier to remove valuables from your vehicle at night rather than have to contact insurance and police and replace them after they are stolen. In addition, get into the habit of locking your vehicle. It could save you lots of aggravation!
