We have had several furious complaints about Wednesday’s two cent gas price increase, at the two Esso stations in town. These price jumps usually happen just before long weekends, as unscrupulous stations try to maximize profits and take advantage of the situation.
The thing people have found offensive is, there is no long weekend this time, but a funeral. We have had comments from we need to boycott Esso” to “how dare they try to take advantage of this tragedy”.
