(ST.MARYS, ON) On Saturday April 3rd 2010, shortly after 2 a.m., an officer on patrol in St.Marys observed a pickup truck driving erratically on Water St. S. The officer pulled over the vehicle and spoke to the driver who displayed signs of impairment.
The driver was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle and was transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville. He provided breath samples into the Intoxilyzer and registered over .80 mgs.
Nathan Grant (23) of St.Marys was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and with operating a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of blood alcohol content. He was held for a bail hearing and was subsequently released with conditions. He was also served a 90 day drivers licence suspension.
