Gerald Bierling – Dangerous Driving – Tried To Out Run Police by Turning Off Headlights And Speeding Away

(South Huron, ON) On March 25, 2010 at approximately 12:15 am, a Huron OPP officer attempted to stop a motor vehicle after it left a parking lot in Exeter. The officer activated his emergency lights and siren and the driver of the motor vehicle immediately switched off his headlights and sped away from the cruiser quickly.

The driver pulled into a Main Street address and then fled the vehicle leaving the engine running. The driver of the vehicle was located a short time later and arrested.

As a result of the incident, Gerald BIERLING (33) of South Huron will be returning to the Ontario Court of Justice – Exeter on May 20, 2010 to answer to charges of Dangerous Driving and Flight from Police. LP10073462
