Daylight Break and Enter – Vehicle Observed Leaving

(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Friday March 19, 2010 shortly after the noon hour, a suspicious vehicle was observed at a residence on Line 26 east of Avonton. Two males were observed loading televisions in the back of the vehicle. The vehicle was seen leaving the residence driving east on Line 26 and turning south on Hwy. 7.

Police investigation revealed that the front door of the residence had been forced open and the home had been entered. Two plasma televisions and a Playstation game were removed from the residence.

The suspect vehicle is described as a 2002 black Chevrolet Avalanche, which had been stolen earlier from an Ingersol business.

The first male suspect is described as caucasian, 5’8” (173 cm), stocky build, 30-35 years of age, having a buzz cut, and wearing blue jeans.

The second male is described as caucasian, 5’ 10” (178 cm), medium build, 30-35 years of age, dark neck-length hair, and wearing a dark shirt.

The stolen property has the following description:

o A 42” Samsung Plasma television Model # HP-S4253, serial # B18N3CNL500399.
o A 53” Samsung Plasma television Model # PN50A450, serial # 302-10099752-H6H5S.
o A Playstation 3 with modern warfare games.

The Perth County OPP with the assistance of the Perth County OPP Crime Unit is investigating this incident.
Anyone with knowledge about this break-in or has information which may help to identify the suspects, is requested to contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

The OPP wants to remind residents to immediately call police if suspicious vehicles and persons are observed on their streets or in their neighbours driveways.
