(Goderich, ON) On February 20, 2010 at approximately 3:00 pm a male entered the Coffee Culture restaurant in Goderich. He walked to the rear of the restaurant which was full of patrons of all ages, and confronted a male. He grabbed the male and pushed him down into his seat and began to yell threats to kill the male and damage his property. The suspect then left the restaurant. Police were called and a search was conducted.
The suspect was arrested later that day after turning himself into police. Ryan BOETTGER (29) of Goderich has been charged with one count of Assault and one count of Utter Threats to Cause Death. He will answer to his charges in the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on March 29, 2010. One condition on his release papers is that he is not allowed to enter the Coffee Culture restaurant.
