(South Huron, ON) On February 20, 2010 a scrapbooking event was being held at the Dashwood Community Centre.
At approximately 9:15 pm, the victim in this matter went out to the parking lot to load boxes into her vehicle while accompanied by a friend. The friend went back into the building to get another load and while outside, the victim was approached by the suspect. The male was armed with a knife. He demanded and grabbed the victims’ purse and pushed her to the ground. The male then fled on foot behind the Dashwood Community Centre.
Police were called and a search was conducted with negative results. The suspect was described by the victim and a witness as being 5’9- 5’10” with a thin build. The male appeared to be scruffy and dirty. He had acne and acne scars on his face. He had dark
