(South Huron, ON) On February 5, 2010 Huron OPP officers were contacted by numerous complainants reporting that their vehicles had been entered overnight in the town of Dashwood. All complainants advised that they had left their vehicles unlocked and only their loose change was missing. One vehicle also had a Garmin GPS System taken.
Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Huron OPP at 1-800-310-1122 or CRIME STOPPERS- 1-800-222-T.I.P.S. (8477). If these vehicles had been locked and valuables, including loose change, had been out of sight, these thefts would most likely NOT have occurred.
