(South Huron, ON) On January 18, 2010 at approximately 11:30 pm, a vehicle entered the McDonald’s drive thru in Exeter to purchase food. The vehicle contained two males. As their order was being handed to them, another male snatched the bag of food and ran away. The customers were given replacement food by McDonalds to cover their loss. The vehicle then drove away, picked up the person who snatched the first bag and left. The three males had been working together. The incident was called in to police who located the males nearby and promptly arrested them.
Three 17 year old Huron East males are now each facing one count of Theft Under $5000 and one count of Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence. All will be appearing in the Ontario Court of Justice – Youth Court Goderich on March 11, 2010.
