(Huron County, ON) Information has been received from the Edmonton Police Department alerting police to a cattle fraud suspect who may be in Ontario and specifically in Huron County. Incidents have been reported out west whereby the suspect sells cattle to unsuspecting farmers, takes their money and never delivers the cattle.
Farmers are being warned to be cautious when involved in cattle sale deals. Follow basic protective measures to ensure that they are not scammed and deal with reputable companies.
