(KINCARDINE, ON.) – The South Bruce OPP stopped a vehicle on Saratoga Road around 9:22 pm on December 15th and found that the driver had been drinking. 49 year old Garland Edwards of Kansas, USA is facing a charge of Refuse Breath Sample. Edwards was arrested at the roadside, his vehicle was towed and he was taken to the South Bruce OPP detachment for processing. He appears in Provincial court on February 8, 2010 to answer to the charge.
Detachment Commander Inspector Bill Klym is sending a strong message to motorists, “if you choose to drink and drive, you choose to be arrested and charged. Impaired driving is a serious threat to public safety and will not be tolerated.â€
