UPDATE: Police Cruiser Rammed – Ronald DAVIS, Methamphetamine & Stolen Property

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers have been able to track down and arrest the passenger that was wanted from an event in Clinton a couple weeks ago where a cruiser was rammed with a stolen pickup.

On April 2, 2020 Huron OPP arrested and charged the driver involved in a cruiser ramming incident from the Clinton car wash that took place on March 29, 2020. Investigators were also able to identify the passenger and they subsequently secured a warrant for his arrest.

On April 11, 2020 officers were patrolling around in Clinton when they located the wanted passenger bicycling on Whitehead Street. The accused was stopped and officers were able to take him into custody on his outstanding warrants.

Upon searching the male he was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine.

Ronald DAVIS, 50 years of age from Clinton has been charged with Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5,000, Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine and Failure to Comply with an Undertaking. He has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for June 8, 2020 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
