(HURON COUNTY, ON) – An investigation conducted by the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit has resulted in sexual assault and other sex-related offences being laid against a Huron East resident.
The charges arise from events that took place in Seaforth during the 1990’s when the victim was a teenager. The accused was a supervisor and golf instructor to the victim during this time period.
Huron County OPP has charged 61-year-old Cameron DOIG from Huron East with the following offences:
Sexual Assault – Two Counts
Sexual Interference – Two Counts
Invitation to Sexual Touching – Two Counts
Sexual Exploitation
Voyeurism
The accused was arrested on May 19, 2020. He has since been released from custody with a future court date at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
