Landlord Tenant Dispute Ends With Arrest In Goderich

(GODERICH) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Goderich resident with Assault Causing Bodily Harm stemming from a disturbance that took place in Goderich late last night.

On Tuesday, April 28, 2020 Huron OPP members responded to a residence on Park Street after receiving a call from a victim that reported he had just been assaulted by his landlord.

Police and paramedics arrived on scene at approximately 10:30 p.m. and met with the injured victim. The subsequent investigation revealed the landlord and victim had been involved in a dispute that turned physical.

Investigators learned the victim was assaulted by the accused and as a result the victim sustained non-life threatening injuries. The victim was assessed by EMS at the scene and the accused was arrested by police.

Kyle SISK, 49 years of age from Goderich has been charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm. He has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for July 13, 2020 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
