(WALKERTON, ON) – On March 14, 2020 at 7:45 p.m., a member of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) noticed a vehicle moving at a high rate of speed along Durham Street east in Walkerton. The vehicle’s speed was displayed on radar at more than 85 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone.
The vehicle was stopped and the officer noted that the driver had been drinking. Steven CASSIDY, 29-years-old, of Brockton was charged with Operate Over 80 Milligrams and Speeding. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 1, 2020 to answer to the charges.
