(KINCARDINE, ON) – The South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has completed a motor vehicle collision investigation that was first reported to police on October 24, 2019.
On October 24, 2019 at 4:12 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received a report of a single vehicle collision involving a fire truck along Bruce Avenue in Kincardine. Officers arrived to find that the fire truck had left the roadway and rolled onto its side before coming to rest in the ditch. A passenger of the truck was taken to hospital, by ambulance, for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
As a result of the police investigation, 2 charges have been laid under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
Michael MOORE, 54-years-old, of Kincardine has been charged with Careless Driving.
Mark STOPFORD, 33-years-old, of Kincardine has been charged with Fail to Properly Wear a Seatbelt.
